Philter Poem by David Olughu

Philter

A tale of two
One of love that's pure and true.
A friendship new,
it grew,
till it gave peace like morning dew.

A tale of two
One of love that's pure and true
Cupids arrow stuck like glue.
Beauty in your eyes like the ocean's blue
The world is a mystery, your heart, my only clue.

A tale of two
One of love that's pure and true
Whenever together, time flew
Exchanging words only love can brew
A perfect picture of love God drew

A tale of two
One of love that's pure and true
A day or two
of I love you
Till the day we'll say the words, 'I do'.
