Ottawa Light Rail Poem by Nick krakana

Ottawa Light Rail

Rating: 4.5

How is it so
Ottawa trains
Refuse to go

They all did say
Clear the way
Our trains are the better way

That's what the TTC did say
Ah.. but their trains ran each day
Failure never got in their way

When it rains or snows
Ottawa trains don't go
They leave you standing out in the snow
Hustle you off to a bus you know

Who race around
Like they don't know
Where to go... dangerously so

A bigger joke could not be told
Of a heritage so strong and bold
Thomas the tank engine
His tears would flow

On hearing this yarn of a fellow train
Fair weathered afraid of rain
No backbone you know
Diesel Electric will always go

Powering up in any snow
Not like this snow job
Ottawaians have been sold
Of billions circling the toilet bowl
