Our Broken Hearts Poem by Hannah Grace

Our Broken Hearts

It was a late date
The date was ditched.
The girl sat there and whirled!
The stood up boy quarreled with the air!
The girl was broken.
The boy was cracked.
Both had been crushed,
Both drooped in despair.
The day that changed their life
The day, that bruised,
Their innocent minds.
They had split, like a stitched heart; ripped.
Girls' Make-up running and boys' thoughts were mad.
Both not cursed by the division,
And the mistake made by it.
Most do not understand until it's over.
But this is something so relatable,
So why, does it hurt so much?
It is This, The day, that broke the heart of two unbound lovers.
