Our Dark Age

When ahead can't come fast enough,
from not enough money
and too much money used
to keep the fires fed,
an age is held back
and looks dark from ahead.

'It distributed unwisely, '
the future said.

Thought provoking. Unfortunately I think the future generations will agree that we've made a great many mistakes that will make life all the more difficult for them and their children. In fact, I think that realization is becoming more common even now by my generation. Made me think critically. A good poem
