Our Dear Mother
There’s a reason for every season
A reason for the leaves
A reason for the snow
The sun, and the glow
There’s a reason for our love
The beauty, the pride
The love that never died
In you resides, hope and conviction
You gave us the rising depiction
Of a world no less than we let it be
And no greater than we could see
For every smile, thought, and prayer
No one could ever compare
To the love and inspiration.
Caring and admiration
There’s a reason for our success
Something that you possess
Something that you know
It may not always show
But we know its there,
We know you care
So think of this, mother of ours
When you look up, to the twinkling stars,
So will we, with all the love for one another,
But mostly of our dear mother.
