God placed the stars to light the sky at night
And make the firmament aglow;
God made the moon to shine its borrowed light
From sun, with beautiful halo!
But none of them portend man's destiny,
Nor signify events that come;
They serve as creation's testimony,
And Maker's prowess so welcome.
Our so-called fate lies in our very hands,
As God gives full freedom to act;
Our loving Father protects us in lands,
Inimical through rainbow pact.
Each one must toil and serve the lord always,
And fulfill His special purpose;
The stars cannot extend one's earthly days
But faith alone we all repose!
