Our Dog Marley Poem by Nick Krakana

After all was said and done
He looked down to see one vacancy

He pondered His thought
On last what to do
With humour, love and sincerity

As only God can do

He named his last creation to be
The Dog enshrined eternally
To be our faithfull four legged buddy

Filled with all His traits to be

A forever faith full friend
Who defines love and loyalty

Destined for joy and heartbreak
To the many who dare give their heart away

T'was twelve short years he stuck by me
Today as i watched Marley's eyes close peacefully

Marley gave me a last telepathic glance to say
' I feel no more pain and the cough is gone to '
' Please don't shed more tears for me '

'' I'll wait for you on this other side '
' Then we can go walking again like we used to do '

We will always love you Marley forever in our hearts....
