Our Dreams Were Suspended Poem by Janine Alyssa Navarro

Our Dreams Were Suspended

Rating: 5.0

Our dreams were suspended
Like little stars on a baby's mobile
The clouds clothed us unrequitedly
Even if we ran away to the seas
We swallowed the lands' wishes
As if it were a youthful elixir
But you ran away without me
I found myself all alone and raw
Under the judging skies
That once cradled me to sleep
