Our Easter Hunt Poem by michael Smajda

Our Easter Hunt

I never was on an Easter hunt.
But if I did one, this I would do.
Even if it took me one whole day,
I would gladly spend it looking for you.

And when I found your hiding place,
The first thing I would break apart,
The shell that keeps you from loving me,
Then, I'd overtake the yolk of your heart.
