Our Festive Santa Claus Poem by Marilyn Lott

Our Festive Santa Claus

Don’t we just love Santa Claus?
With the many ways he’s portrayed
Sometimes he’s quite distinguished
And other times he seems a bit frayed

He tops off the Christmas holiday
With his bright and cheerful ways
Christmas would not be the same
With no Santa on those festive days

He’s got those bushy eyebrows
And beard so fluffy and white
We love to picture him in his sleigh
Skyward on Christmas night

His Ho Ho Ho so jolly
His smile makes us do the same
To do without our Santa
Would make the holiday lame

Of course it’s all about Jesus
But Santa always makes us smile
He gives the children hope
If just for a little while!
