Our first loving kiss
Was not when we looked at each other's eyes
And we implored the Earth and the Skies
To engulf our love in eternal bliss
Nor was it when
On that beautiful spring afternoon
We waited beside the lake for the moon
And we made love then
No, it wasn't even on that day
When I said I would leave you forever
And you said please never say that again, never
And while crying you asked me to stay
Our first loving kiss was when you said,
'Darling, the news is great
You are going to be a father
And I… I'm going to be a mother'.
And then we joined our lips to celebrate
