Our Heritage - Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

Profound are my Thoughts, which to words I create,
To put into verse, I don’t hesitate,
To convey them to you, as soon as they’re formed,
Lest these words are lost, ne’er again to be found.

My Thoughts are of good, not of Malice or Hate,
Of what in this World, HE did create,
For the good of us all, who live in this World,
To keep it for all in its pristine state.

We must learn to keep it, whatever the cost,
From turmoil and strife, lest its beauty is lost,
It is our Heritage for all of our Heirs,
We must ensure it is still there for years.
