Our House Is Burning Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

Our House Is Burning

The old words echo now,
A whisper turned to roar,
Of seasons growing long,
And fires at the door.

The parched earth cracks and groans,
The sun a searing eye,
Across the continents,
Flames leap towards the sky.

Our refuge turns to ash,
A desperate plea takes flight,
The house is burning bright,
In this emergency's light.
