Our Limited Nature Poem by RIC BASTASA

our limited nature is obvious
our hands only wish for the sky
they cannot touch them short of length as they are
and so our eyes too
they cannot pierce what is behind the mist and the frost
just like our feet
that stamp only some footprints on the grass
and leave some anger behind a path
our hearts can only love what they see
our skin for what it feels

i wish to tell you
that we can go somewhere in the world of imagination
even enter the doors of fantasy
where all our senses ride on the wings of infinity
there are no limits there is no time
too much bliss that we soon forget
about us.
