Our Own Grin - Poem by STEVE HOFFMAN

Those Big Brown Eyes
An attitude so inviting
That independent style
That sweet grin so exciting

Its only been days
But so many miles
It seems like its been months
For those freckles, that smile

I miss you so much
And you know that I’m true
When you come back home
And I’ll love only you

Hope when your done
And you know that it’s real
When you come back again
I know happy is what you’ll feel

I know it’s a struggle
And I know theirs some doubt
But its been a time given
Lets not toss it out

I know that I’ve said it
And again it is true
In my heart theirs one place
And its kept all for you
