This may be a joke but it's a sweet one because we are involved in a common pursuit. Winning the Nobel Prize is probably best seen as hyperbole, exaggeration to prove a point. And your theme is confident and positive: that we can write poems, that these poems can be polished, that they will speak to a large audience. This poem celebrates friendship, creativity, God's plenty and giddy joy. This is the spirit of summer, may it last throughout the season in both of our home cities.
