POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Note: This poem was inspired, written in the haiku style of poetry and published for the first time today, the 27th of January,2025. It was inspired after hearing of this battle in which a people refused to submit to being ruled by others. It struck me that perhaps many nations in the world are at this red cliff moment and not have the choice to submit to a global, centralized rule or maintain their sovereignty as a people with their own culture and traditions.
