Our Sexy Relations Poem by Beth K. Lamont

Our Sexy Relations

So Humans won't go extinct
I hope we're genetically linked
To a species more gentle, Perhaps elemental,
Overworked Mother Nature had blinked?

Can't be she intended that we'd be descended
From beings with murderous genes!
In the struggle for survival Some came to the arrival
That there were more pleasurable means

With keen observation, We found a relation:
It's a Chimp that makes Love and not war!
This DNA's Spiral is bound to go viral!
And the BONOBO's traits we'll Adore!

As I've hoped and suspected, I believe we're connected!
Pleasure-seeking just can't be a Sin!
With genital-rubbing, 'stead of bashing and clubbing,
it's the BONOBO that I want for my Kin!
