Our Story Poem by Jcson Jenuis

Our Story

Rating: 5.0

In the darkest brains of this tune,
Wine in dance with memories of the dying souls,
The sick trains waving on the rails,
Hi! To our weary and shivering souls,
Whiles the gods meetings with the ancestors faking forever,
Our incantations are dew and famine brew,
The lands drinking the sour wine of hunger,
As we lay in back, the stomach saying hi to our pains,
The dreams shared, now fading high in the sun's of Dakar,
Dark and burnt, picking from our tattered shames,
Whom to blame, we brought our thoughts to trade,
In the court of the supreme one, we now lay our story.
Questions tabled in sad life of our thoughts,
Only in prayer, we seek in to buy favor,
For the brain and minds are in fought,
Our Story walks in motion of the broken lorry.

Witty rendition of words set aside for sober reflection. Well conceived and elegantly brought forth in heightened poetic diction with conviction. Thanks for sharing Jcson.
