Divided we become weak as a nation
Our strength lies in unity as its people
This land needs to heal from the wounds
That the past has inflicted on its soul
Let the past be buried to the ground
But let its lesson be never forgotten
Like the dead heroes whose lives we celebrate and memorialize
It is time to put the pieces back together
To make this country whole again
From its fragmented past that tore it apart
End the division forge a union
Work for the love of country not for ones political party
Foster unity among the citizen
And make this nation great again
Any country's strength is to be found in unity, but especially your country, which is scattered over such a large number of islands. The years of Ferdinand Marcos must have have left their traces.

A great poem. Loved the slogan expressed through your last two lines.
