Our Time In Gazebo Shade Poem by A. P. Hancock

Our Time In Gazebo Shade

Come out upon the lake with me, in the old Gazebo Float
It's like a backyard soul retreat, a just-for-you made boat

We'll stretch out on the lazy bench, or in the hammock swing
We'll read a book or nap a while, and feast on chocolate things

We'll simply cruise along the shore, and do what ere we wish
We'll sing and dance and act like clowns, or even feed the fish

We'll grab our shoes and toss them off, dangle our toes awhile
We'll think about when we were young, and then we'll share a smile

We'll talk about the blessed things, that make life worth the ride
We'll bring to mind the special ones, who've helped us stay in stride

And we'll end the day with my oh my, a memory we have made
And we will not forget too soon, our time in gazebo shade
