Our Way Poem by Emily MacGregor

Our Way

When do we accept the fact,
That we all clearly lack,
The trust we need,
To allow someone to lead,
Its not my fault,
I don't lead the cult,
I'm just saying,
Were all paying,
One day were die,
Full of lies,
Don't try to run,
Because there is no sun,
We chose to set the high bar,
And drive fancy cars,
Now look at us,
There is no need to fuss,
Who are you to judge,
And try to make us budge,
We are serving the time,
For everybodies crime,
Take a look,
We all crooks,
So lets take time out of our day,
to have our final say,
Thats what its all about,
So don't pout,
This is what you want,
And no one cares about your rant,
Change our ways,
for more better days,
They say that is dumb,
But their are some,
They talk about it being a go,
But we all know its just a show...
