Our World Poem by Sandra Osborne

Our World

Rating: 5.0

J
I live in a pokey little flat
One bedroom and a room
in which I sit and write
A small garden in the front
and traffic noise at night

S
I live on the grand ol' Wilcom Farm
With cows and goats and pigs
In a two story white washed fifties house
With dogs and cats all running wild
Chasing the old door mouse.

J
I am surrounded by old people
at least 20 years older than me
I'd give it up for your farm house
But
I'm stuck here and cannot get free

S
Ah the farm is great, all white and brown
Some old, some not, kids running round.
Wish you were here, we'd camp and sing
And hold all the love that friendship brings.
