Our World Is A Cave Poem by Cindy Natalie

Our World Is A Cave

Rating: 5.0

We may not have sunshine
Or starlight
Or weather
But none of that matters
If we're together
We don't need the wind or
The moon
Or the Sun
You're the light of my life
You are my One

And who needs the sun for warmth
When you have got arms?
Who needs the breeze to cool
When there are cave walls?
And who needs the stars
To light their way in the dark?
Let's take a walk through stalactite park

Trust me my darling
Mo storeen
My dear
The sky is not always blue
It's not always clear
It's not safe to leave now
For work
Or for play
So here in our cave
Together we'll stay

Outside these walls
There's nothing
But darkness
The only thing to chase the night
Is the light from our sconces
There's red on the sidewalk
And fear in the air
But hidden together
We'll never despair

So come close my darling
My young one
My dear
Snuggle close and close your eyes
I'll always be here
Pray that the angels
Will watch
And keep
You safe in your dreams
And as you sleep

So dream well
My darling
My angel
My dear
And trust that I'll keep you safe
You've nothing to fear
I know it's been hard
But we've come so far
I'll protect you mo stor
Wherever you are

Listen mo eudail
Mo storeen
Mo chroí
I know that you miss the sun
But it's not up to me
I'm sorry that I'm
To scared to sing
I'm sorry that it's
Just you and me
Forever together
Mo storeen
Mo chroí
