Ours Is Love Poem by Richard (Narad) Eggenberger

Ours Is Love

Ours is Love

I saw a bluebird and his mate
Descend from skies an equal blue
And wondered in this world of late
Why peace is given to so few.

I looked upon the flowers then
Radiant with inner light
And wondered why this world we pen
In limits of our blinded sight.

I ventured in the vast unknown
In India my spirit learned
That seeds of anger deftly thrown
Return to us as gifts we've earned

That we in harmony may live
And conquer all that binds us here,
Ours is love and light to give
And naught is there that we should fear.
