She Who Came Poem by Richard (Narad) Eggenberger

She Who Came

She Who Came

Silently she came, the silence spoke all
As she held me closely in the room that night.
There was music singing in her soul
And round her lovely eyes a haloed light.

As one who with humility reveres
A gift beyond all knowing and is still
I prayed as she embraced me through her tears
And asked of the Supreme this soul to fill

With God-delight, this angel bright and fair,
That she might bring to earth his songs of peace,
Celestial hymns called down through her by prayer
So pure that human enmity would cease.

I hold her love in the deep heart's recess
Petitioning Him to guide, protect and bless.
