Outsecurities - Poem by Bron Dayvid

Look at you with your hair and nails did
Make up makes up for lack of confidence
Just bought yourself a 500 hundred dollar outfit
Just to go out in show out in
Grabbing the attention of men
Whose only intentions are to penetrate the pinnacle most sacred
Secure part of a woman’s body
Look at you with your Louis Vuitton purse and Prada perfume
The scent of hair products you use to produce
The final product of a pretentious yet abused
Look at you heartbroken so on a mission to return the favor
To men who have done you no wrong but u go on and regret it later
But later is too late you have already made the mistake
The pain you can’t escape so you go out on multiple dates
In attempt to forget the date
Cus you don’t want to remember the past so you pass through life
On the wrong path
Misguided like a tourist
Foreign to love so she confuses it with sex
And the affects of her artificial love infects her with more pain yet she can’t restrain
Cus the connections she has with it is her only connotation of love
So she continues to insist she is in love… but deep down she isn’t sure
It isn’t love at all she is just insecure….and I see right through you Miss Insecure
