Outside My Shell. - Poem by kavita bhat

So many voices to hear,
So many things to see,
Standing in the crowd
All emotions i cud feel...

Some people are crying,
Some are pleading,
Some are fighting
Some are bleading...

Outside my shell i have no one
everyone here is a stranger to me...
Have got no one to put my trust on
Not even the one who belong to me.

I was very happy in....my shell
As it was all mine, safe and secured
the moment i stepped out of it.....
here i am with wounds which can never be cured.

But this wont make me go back to my shell,
I am not gonna.... give up
Surviving in this world has made me realise
what my strengths are and what i am capable of!
