Outwardly, No One Is Like Another Poem by Mohammad Younus

Outwardly, No One Is Like Another

Outwardly, no one is like another,
Each a universe, distinct within.
What has faded, man mourns,
And for what's undefined,
he craves to bloom.

While weaving his fragile web-house,
He clings to a spider's thread,
Continuing, endlessly weaving—
A home, frailest of all shelters.

Divine homebuilding, he neglects,
Suspended on the raw thread of ego.
Though no soul mirrors another,
Yet all are strung together—

Playing in meaningless games,
Fleeting, fragile pursuits,
Humans have grown as opium-eaters,
Intoxicated by illusions,
Chasing empty mortal dreams.

God calls out,
'Return to the path of humanity,
Where love replaces all fleeting things.
Connect to the divine in your heart—
A place of peace, a refuge calm,
Where fragile webs dissolve in grace.'
