Over My Heart He Reigns (Sonnet #110) Poem by Tina Rizk

Over My Heart He Reigns (Sonnet #110)

Don't be proud of your color, O blue ocean
My lover's blue eyes are deeper, more christalline
They mirror my soul with perfection
They tell me tales, when humans were divine.

Be humble, O mighty, majestic mountains
My soulmate's beautiful soul is mightier
His queen I am, over my heart he reigns
His majestic love is my sole honor.

O dews, your tenderness doesn't compare
To the tenderness poured from my lover's heart
From his tenderness I weaved a dress I wear,
As a spring red rose, my soul flowered.

Having tasted the potion of your love
The world's beauty lies within your heart's coves.
