Over The Edge Poem by John Johnson

Over The Edge

I am standing on the edge now,

Looking down on the jagged rocks,

Thinking of her,

They are all empty thoughts,

I stood at the gates of heaven every time I felt her touch,

I have seen and done so many wonderful things,

But none of them compare to the day we exchanged are wedding rings,

Life has seemed to lost all meaning,

And I know that she is gone,

I can not run from her,

She fills my dreams,

And all of my thoughts,

That is why my blood is stained on the jagged rocks
