Overcoming Love Poem by Ahatisham Alam

Overcoming Love

I was worthless without Your light.
You lifted me to the spritual height.
Thy Light like a hidden day in the night.
Then why I engaged with soul's fight.

They say to me, confused utterly.
Whether they or I are in life.
For achieving the aim, they too,
With me, struggle and strife.

The sun warmth, the moon shines.
Seeing them, often I pines.
To have a glimpse of that beauty.
Which remains on Thy face.

O Lord! Let me enjoy that love.
The universal love, the beauty.
Beauty of sprit and Nature.
You have been gifted by Creator.
