Overwhelmed Poem by Hebert Logerie

Overwhelmed

Overwhelmed by your beauty
Overwhelmed by your smile
Overwhelmed by your style
Overwhelmed by your generosity
Woman, I am overwhelmed by your presence
Specifically by the sweetness of your fragrance
Your face unlocked the door of my heart gently
Like a safe-box of glee and happiness, on sight
Where my whole body trembled like a palm tree
That got fanned by a gust of wind
That's right
Thank God, I had both feet firm on the land.

I am running out of words to describe you
You are indeed simple and stylish
I dream seeing you at the beach
Where I don't know what to do
Where I don't know what to say
Nothing to do
Nothing to say
Because I am overwhelmed, I am in awe
Should I genuflect or should I bow
In front of this beauty of light
Where I simply want to be right?
