Own Your Life Poem by Vinaya Joseph

Own Your Life

In the echoes of judgment's call,
Where whispers weave their binding thrall,
A truth unfurls, bold and bright,
Defying shadows, embracing light.

For in this world of veils and guise,
Men tread a path beneath scrutinizing eyes.
Yet in the depth of their soul's sway,
Emotions dance, unbound, at bay.

Why quell the tears that softly fall?
Or mask the heart's tender call?
For strength resides in vulnerability's grace,
And courage blooms in every tear-traced space.

Let not the clamor of societal decree,
Define the essence of what it means to be free.
For in the quiet strength of owning your truth,
Lies the courage to break from the mold, uncouth.

So let the rivers of emotion flow,
With every ebb and every gentle woe.
For in the shedding of societal chains,
True liberation, boundless, remains.

Live not by the measure of external gaze,
But by the rhythm of your own soul's blaze.
For in the symphony of self, untamed and bold,
Lies the essence of a life, authentically told.
