Paddy Flowers - Poem by Gajanan Mishra

Paddy flowers,
Where is my paddy flowers?
See, I am so unlucky
I am here on my paddy field,
But nothing is there, only
The sun is dancing, only
The earth is crying.
My shadow is also
Not with me.
How can I live?
Where shall I go?
How can I repaid my loan?
No patience is there
With me.

The plight of farmers in prevailing drought like conditions in many parts of our nation has been nicely portrayed.
The poem is meaningful and thought provoking. Thanks for sharing.10 points.
