Pageless - Poem by Oluwatosin Richard Shiba Aribo

Even though my heart is torn,
I found a way to keep myself warm,
My firepower keeps me going strong,
I have no worry, l stay calm,
Even though outside there's a raging storm,
I don't move, except with my gun,
There's no fuss, except for my outburst'
Advice me if l'm trite, tell me if l'm wrong,
To exist in the abyss, to buzz under the sun
Though the life of an African is raw and without fun,
I'll continue having fun with my recreation till l'm gone.
