The lines of ink seem to stretch
Beyond any horizon,
Pulling into the endless abyss of my mind.
Sinking deeper and deeper into
A swarm of leviathans known as thoughts
Plethoras of intriguing lexis'
Fill my breath in each step I take.
I stare around the limit to my vision
Nothing but beautiful colors
And a bright smile.
A somber feeling
Emanating from the ends of her lips
From side to side, twisting like a flame.
It's infectious, only seen on a page
Yet there she is, dancing my heart away.
Far away from any comfortable place
Far away from any wall
Far away from any bed I've known
Just torn down within a blink of an eye.
I read a story like this once
A fairy tale that no one would ever believe
A dance that no one could imagine.
Yet, I had one with you
I have this story with you
I danced to the end of the realm with you.
Dancing petals mimic their letters
A page may hold humanity's darkest moments
But it will hold my brightest night
In the darkest hour, you shine brightest.
This book won't ever close
Not until the flowers wither beyond winter,
Into the next version of this book.
