Life gifts us 'pain', a natural phenomenon
Which demands no language to understand
It comes as a bolt from the blue
And creeps in at the most improper time.
Anything on earth can torment, either physically or mentally.
Every tribulation, when surfaces for the first time
Seems to inflict the greatest pain,
Until a new one, more painful, emerge and smothers the previous!
What else is life?
Nothing! But a journey from distress at one point to another
And what lies in between, is the silverline that fuels the life's wheel.
We remain there thinking, "Here ends one bad time
and another one has not yet begun! "
And what lies in between, is the silverline that fuels the life's wheel..words of wisdom...... yes we all go on this way. suffering and learning and smiling in between inspite of pain. thank u dear poet. tony
A very meaningful and poignant write about life. The first stanza is very moving. Yet, where there is pain there is also gain. Beautifully crafted write.10
