Pain Poem by Richie John Pais

Pain

Hey Shera
You know I am a big man
You've been with me for ages
As my bodyguard
Have been always loyal
Tell me now frankly
Why this law is so?
All know how good I am
Generous to all
Good human being
Better than many in filmdom
How can they convict me
And send to jail
For one blackbuck
I am a man of bucks
Friend of chief of nation
Icon of millions
Whole film fraternity
Stands by me always
How can they ask me
To spend night
With mosquitoes
To eat chapathi without ghee
While I can afford
Best of luxuries on earth

My boss Salman
I am only your bodyguard
Never said concerning
Your mind and soul
I don't say you are bad
But you have sinned
In many ways
God may give punishment
In his own style and time
Courts not spectators
Judges not puppets
Law same for all
Moreover blackbuck too has life
You compared your fatigue
To the plight of raped woman
In distasteful manner
Never felt sorry for it
Now jail pinches you
Have you seen tears of women?

I am your employee
Protecting you is my job
I would go to jail
On your behalf
If you ask me to
But cannot take
Your eternal punishment
Does not matter
Whom you know
With whom you play kite
Film people always stand by evil
They want only profits
Law is law boss
And pain is pain
Please understand
Boss we have a short life
Let's be good to each other

(Shera is loyal bodyguard of actor Salman Khan)
