Pain...Called Love Poem by Chiamaka Okorie

Pain...Called Love

Rating: 5.0

I come to you in mock peace.
I come to you with a plain but filthy heart, filled with deceit and not of truth.
I hope you see me as i am.
With no hurt or pun intended.
I come to fill up that empty hole, deep withing your heart.
I only ask for one thing.
The fragile golden key.
That unlocks your heart, naively setting me free.
And I am Love.

Open and free, laying it all out in truth. Honest and hopeful. Great job using feelings that some keep hidden. This poem brings out the reality of what builds and what disguises in relationships. Strong and creative, nice work. Debbie
