Pain Eternal Poem by Max Corvus Tenebrus

Pain Eternal

I have lost every chance,
Of holding you in my embrace,
World is not a beautiful place,
Life is not a cheep romance.

Bound by chains of eternal pain,
I'm your acquiescent slave,
I will never be so brave,
To tell you how my life is in vain.

My heart is just another ship,
Sinking in the shadow dim and vast,
Only my hands like the tallest masts,
Are clinging to you, not wanting to slip.
