Requiem To Darkness Poem by Max Corvus Tenebrus

Requiem To Darkness

Oh how your hair is black my love,
Like the late nocturnal sky,
And your eyes are emerald green,
I shall never let them cry.

As well my soul is black tonight,
So dark like your silken hair,
Nor a word we say, just a gentle touch,
Of our faces pale and fair.

Your lips, so ruby red of blood,
And your beauty so divine,
Haunted by your sweetest love,
Immortal through the time.

A requiem to darkness,
A goodbye song for light,
A lullaby for breaking dawn,
And a bloody kiss at twilight.

Nobody will ever hurt you,
Dark goddess I devote,
In my black soul, there is a scream,
And a love poem that I wrote.
