Pain That Never Goes Away Poem by Mary Yang

Pain That Never Goes Away

The pain never goes away,
As much as I try to keep it aside.
Everyday, just having to say
Gotta keep your feelings inside.

As much as it hurts, it may be fate,
It'll never be the same anyway.
It has gone too far, now it's too late.
I simply wanted you to stay.

Away you fled, away you've been,
I no longer saw that wonderful smile.
It's been different ever since then,
When you're away for thousands of miles.

Taking off your mind from this 'love', it's difficult. It hurts and it tears you apart until your last breath.
