Pain Under Siege Poem by Satish Verma

Pain Under Siege

I lived in pieces
like a Darwish. His love melts
and thorns become roses.

Have you seen the
tears turning into pearls,
and oyster leaves the value on the bank?

I am drifting on the
waves of pain. Did you walk
on stars, when the moon was red?
