In life, people seek soul-mates
Associates, acquaintances whose devotions
Preferences, dislikes and hobbies titillate similar palates.

In life as in social media, people prefer perfect partners
In life, people share joy and grief
Feeling, ceiling, dealing in containers
Where partners and associates seek relief.

In life, people prefer positive portions
In life, people pander to peace and positivism
Which if given momentum yield augmented options
That enable emancipated elements to embrace humanism.

In life, people purify pressure
In life, people possess the power to love
To tolerate teasers, to freeze a fissure
That threatens to divert the flight of a determined dove.

In life, people paint a pink picture
In life, people scan their social environment
Striving to heal a rapture
That threatens to increase tumult and torment.

In life, people portray peace
In life, people pack pesky packages
Pay lip service to the power of a kiss
Until entire lives suffer loyalty leakages.
