Paradise Poem by Charlie Bain

Paradise

Rating: 3.0

I can hear it in the wind
Your silent whisper; I surrender
My love is just around the bend
A fire burns; The world still turns
I can feel it in the sun
Your arms embrace; Your gentle face
My love has only just begun
The oceans wave; Our world is safe

I can see it in your eyes
Your love for me; Always will be
My love is swallowing ths skies
The meadowlands; Where it began
I can taste you in the air
Your lips so sweet; My favorite treat
My love is more than I can bare
The breeze may flow; I won't let go

Stars shine brightly in the Sky
Winking at the passers by
But their numbers could not match
The love I feel for you
And in it's mass my love creates
An Island world, a special place
The ocean waves carry me gently
All the way to paradise
