Paradise Is Gone Poem by Saul Palti

Paradise Is Gone

This is all I wanted from life
to carry a sword and knife
he says he can sleep
under stars so weep

the mighty out looker
throws a blind right hooker
over the fallen stranger
who cries with a tear later

we say the law will guide
yet they fail with their slide
falling under a wet tear
because of a sworn fear

this is a disquieted plea
on how a world wins fee
give me your money
so I can share some honey

the law quarts protection
while the days coated in silicon
fall from high above
at never feeling love
