***paradise-(Part 8) -The Crack Whore - Poem by Coach Roth

Coach boarded the crowded bus
destined for downtown L.A.
A crack whore blocked the aisle
wearing only a ragged sun dress
draped over skeleton shoulders
withered titties hanging out the sides
butt and more showing above
her ravaged thighs…
screaming and ranting
that she was cold
needed a coat.

Finally when she attacked
a terrified mother and her babies…
Coach could no longer ignore her.

“I’ll give you my coat
If you get off the bus.”
The wrinkled scarred face
smiled a no tooth smile
at the sight of the new down jacket
Maria had bought for him.

Deal? Yes a deal.
Driver pulled to the side…
pacified prostitute
walked off the bus…
then changed her mind.

The dumb and dumbfounded
driver trying to close the doors and go…
The whore screaming
with one foot on the step
Coach yelling
with one foot on her chest
holding the door railings tightly
kicking her back to the curb as
the bus pulled away…

A standing ovation from the
grateful passengers
as Coach watched
his new down jacket
being stomped in the dirt
by one dissatisfied coke whore.
Maria was not going to believe this one.

That was quite a poem, Coach. One must hold one's breath
while reading your stories because you certainly do amaze!
A novel out there for you, or are do they already exist? Drugs
do such terrible things it breaks my heart.

    Your fan,
    Marilyn

Oh, to be a fly on the wall, at a party, with you, Coach tale-telling your titillating transpirings of tenet, and toothsome wit! ....You indeed, continue to impress!

Coach, your stories never fail to surprise! You're some story-teller too. Interesting, above all and with just enough detail, but not too much. Sorry about the new coat. Sad when drugs de-humanize isn't it. love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ (Report) Reply
