Over the hills onto the sand I see.
A sea of glass metallic and serene.
All that I know distorts in front of me-
Images of a time before a dream.

This land of paradise long lost.
A place beneath the shadow of earth.
Where all that's seen and all that's known is lore-
A place of secret ever since times birth.

Time melts away into nothingness.
Why? One would ask of all that is.
And of light that is only darkness.
And is this too all part of what is His?

A place over the hills across the sand.
A place where time is lost within the land.
