Paradiso: Canto Viii The Healers Poem by Stevie Cornett

Paradiso: Canto Viii The Healers

The Healers, come now,
The benevolent and the dedicated,
Focused on the well-being of others.
A look back may have you devastated
To find a hindsight of twenty-twenty exacerbated.
Fear not, an eternal fate was foretold in Heaven,
So that you may heal a brother's wounds
And be embraced by a soul once abandoned.
